Hi Ladies! I finally decided after a year+ of lurking to come out of my super secret, creepy hiding place! Reading posts from fellow waiting bees (and everyone else too!) has been really helpful to me as I’m anxiously awaiting the next step after over 5 years with my boyfriend.
For those of you not watching the Super Bowl like me (I want to like football, I just don’t have it in me!), how are you keeping entertained?

Welcome! I’ve been with my SO for over 5 years too! yay
I don’t like football either. I’m Canadian, so I’m a hockey girl, of course.
Unfortunately, school work is keeping me entertained….and this website while I procrastinate

I’m not a football fan either, and SO watched the game with the guys so I had the day to myself. I may not have accomplished much, but I made myself a good dinner! Welcome to the Hive!

@Puppyenthusiast: I’m a massive lurker as well, but I’ll say welcome anyhow 🙂

Welcome!! Thankfully SO isn’t a football guy, so we spent most of the day curled up watching Heros and movies. I even talked him into watching Pitch Perfect! Welcome out of lurking!

Hi! Welcome! I am also completely disinterested in football. 😉
But, last night I foolishly went out with my SO and his brother, who wanted to watch the game at a local pizza place (none of us have TVs in our homes). Sooooooo boring! Ugh! Next year I will try my best to leave them to it and not go!
I’ve been with my SO for almost 4 years. . . if we don’t seem to be on the path to getting engaged by 5 years, I’ll be upset. Good for you for not sounding upset! We’re all different with the timeframe in which we begin having trouble being patient and start having to go cuckoo on here occasionally. It’s wonderful to have a place to vent and share the good signs and not have everyone think you’re crazy! (None of my friends are in a similar position right now, so I feel strange when I talk to them about it).

@EmilyJoy: OMG, that movie is amazing. I laughed soooo hard. So even chuckled quite a bit. It was awesome!
