My friend did it, and had results in that time, but they were subtle.  Enough to be noticeable if you knew her well.

Best to see an orthodontist than ask us.  It’s one thing if you have a small gap and another if you have crowding.

However, if you always wanted a perfect smile and not just for your wedding day, it may be worth starting.  The great thing about invisalign is that you can pop them out for the day and pop them back in before you go to sleep!

Ask an ortho, in order to close that gap they may need to creat another gap while they are closing it. I had braces and my retainer is practically like invisalign and I have been using the same retainer for 10 years so it works well, my teeth are still straight.

@puggleperson:  Both H and I are doing invisalign!

It depends on what they told how long it would take overall.

They told me 6 months for my top and 9 months for my bottom, so I would imagine I could see results in 5 months personally.

However, H is more like 9-13 months for his teeth.  While I can see some smalllll changes at 4 momths for him, someone with his teeth wouldn’t be dramatically different after 5 months.

My sister had a large gap in between her two front teeth and her bottom teeth were crooked. She got Invisalign and I saw drastic changes in no time. They quoted her ( I think a year and a half) but only about 8 months in, maybe even sooner you can see drastic changes! A mutual friend of ours hasn’t seen her in a few months and thought she had gotten veneers! I say if you can afford it and it’ll make you feel better go for it! I see a major change in my sisters smile and I love it!!

What did you decide?!

If your wedding is in March, I don’t think you will see many results in this little amount of time.. You will have to get impressions done, then they make your first tray which can take a month. I know for me to just get braces, my first appt made was August, braces on in October. It takes time to get things moving!
