So I’m having some issues. My invitation are all assembled except of the belly band around the pocket fold. The belly band is ribbon and I am adhering a cardstock rectangle with my monogram over it. What should I use to adhere the cardstock to the ribbon. Glue dots don’t stick securely enough. I’m worried about glue seeping through the ribbon and sticking to the pocket fold.
What should I use?

We are doing the exact same thing, but we’re using an etched ribbon that has cutouts. We’re using a pocket fold as a “template” and attaching a piece of wax paper to it. We’ll glue the ribbon on it and then slide it off and put it on the pocketfold in order to avoid it seeping through.

I work in a stationery/craft shop and we carry these things that are like those correction tape runners but they are glue, it’s almost like a double sided tape runner but stickier than double tape. It’s not wet so it won’t seep through the stock! Most craft or scrapbooking stores carry them. I’d run it along the ribbon and then press the ribbon onto the card stock.
