I have a quick question/poll – what is the weight of the cardstock for your invitation? And do you notice the difference between cotton cream and smooth paper? Any printing issues between the different types of cardstock?
(I’m trying to decide what to use for our diy invites!)

I used the 110 lbs, 92 brightness, smooth, white cardstock from Staples. I didn’t have any problems printing with our Canon inkjet.
Be careful, the weight doesn’t also dictate the thickness of the paper. Some types of 110lbs will be thinner than 90 or 80 lbs.

Try Classic Crest Natural White (for cream) or Solar White (for white) 110lb cover. For a textured paper, try Paper-source’s Luxe cover stocks. However, on a home printer a textured paper may not print as saturated or clearly as you would like it to. Smooth papers would be your best option.
