I would use the magnets for save the dates and then do traditional invitations as well as DVD invitations…. you never really know who has a DVD player, and the older folks would appreciate paper.

Not sure what size magnet you’re looking at. I got the business card sized ones for my Save the Date. It was fine for the (cheap) price. But the printing is not very sharp.

If you’re getting the small ones I wouldn’t put too much info on it. Even a size 10 font is pretty small.

Also, vistaprint has a new sale practically every day. Don’t worry if you miss one, there’ll be another.

I would wait until your venue is set in stone. The DVD idea sounds really neat but, I think most people will appreciate having a paper version of the invite. Plus, like friedicecream said, VistaPrint always has sales.

I would wait to get the magnets until you pick your venue. Vista Print has that deal a lot so you will probably be able to get them again once you choose your venue. 🙂
