Haha, yeah, invitations are expensive. The sooner you realize that, that happier you’ll be. 🙂

I got mine from http://www.mygatsby.com/ but their prices are listed seperately also. I think that’s the norm.

Good luck!

Oh, I’m sorry hun…I went through the same thing before I just designed my own in the end!  Hang in there!!

I know you mentioned not wanting to print your own, but have you talked to anyone who has bought packs from like Hobby Lobby or Michaels?? I’ve heard many people say they are easy easy to print??

I think kits are difficult because not everyone is using all the same kinds of included cards (we’re using rsvp, only, for example, not reception cards or anything). We despaired, too, at the breathtaking cost. We finally got ours from Weddingstar, which has a nice range of designs, it’s easy to click from item to item (they are listed separately), and they were by far the least expensive that we saw online that we didn’t have to print ourselves.

I just sent them out a few days ago and I love them.

@Woodstock:  Well, I’m not sure how much ink it would take to print them, but if you can get a good deal on the invites, then I’m thinking it would probably save in the end (otherwise you’re paying someone else to print as well with their ink, so they have to make a profit on it).

I’ve been trying to copy a thread for you, but can’t figure out how to do it! lol.  If you can get to the thread : “Heads up! I just bought my DYI printable invites 50% off” I think she mentioned all the things you’re looking for and it was $25 for 100 invites, envelopes, RSVP cards and their envelopes. Not sure on what to do for the Recption part, but it may be a start??

Hope it helps!!  Good luck!
