I think this one comes down completely to the formality of your event – for a casual event I’d do love bird and for a more formal event I’d do the swirls one.

What time of day is your wedding?  Is it in a church? Some more information about your event would help me give you better advice!

Based on your description of your event, I’d definitely go with the pearls and swirls one then!  I’m assuming you could make the backing midnight blue and the ribbon cranberry red (or something like that to coordinate with your colors)?

I love the flirtyness of the Lovebirds one – very unique.  But I think the swirls one goes better with your overall theme!!

I really prefer number 2.  Number one seems very fussy to me.

They are both lovely. I prefer the love birds. I am a wedding stationery/invite designer on etsy… and we aren’t all bad. : ) Unfortunately etsy attracts a variety of sellers and buyers : ) I still think considering how disparate the two are that you probably need to go custom so you can have everything you want. Tell your invitation designer you want to combine the two and show her the two you love.

Good for you. There is no reason you should not have both! I would love to get a bride’s opinion on my etsy site… would you mind taking a look and telling me if it is “bride friendly”?

I also think you made a good decision, you want an invite designer that is professional and does not drop off the face of the earth. That is why etsy has a vacation mode for things like maternity leave, travel and even sadly tragedy. There is no excuse for her not letting you know something was up with her.

It’s two thousand eleven or twenty eleven, not two thousand and eleven.  It’s fine in the second one but not correct in the first one.

I prefer the pearls and swirls. The other one is to busy for me.
