So I am going to do the invitations for my dad’s wedding. They are doing a fun outdoor ceremony in June with a “picnic” reception. The place has tons of activities including canoeing.
My question is, How do I get different fonts or formats? I just have a regular computer with Word and Publisher on it. We like a lot of invites with typewritter fonts or where it’s all a “block” does that make sense?
Any advise woulf be greatly appreciated:)

Go to DaFont.com, they have a ton of free fonts. I downloaded a typewriter-like font from there, but I forget the name of it, sorry!

Yes! That’s a great site! I used a combination of the “DearJoe4” script font and a typewriter font and have gotten SO many compliments on it. AWESOME resource!

You need to unzip the file and save the .ttf file where your word fonts are. On my computer its C:WINDOWSFonts

In the downloads window right click and open “folder” then you can right click on the “zip” file and click extract
On my computer it then shows as a folder (instead of the zip).. I open the folder right click the font name and “install”
You can also go to your control panel, fonts, install fonts (<— after you extract the file)

Also usually if you double click the .ttf file it’ll open a window so you can see the font and there’s a button you can click to “Install”
