well, mine isn’t explicitly black-tie, but I think that the invitation style gets the point across-(It’s black/gray printing on awesome shimmery-cream-colored paper.)

I’m not really having “colors,” the girls are wearing royal blue dresses, and there will be sunflowers all over, but like the tablecloths will all be black (while that might sound weird, it’s an evening reception, and I’m thinking it will make me stand out even more! heheh!) I’m just trying to keep the colors “simple” other than that.

I sent out a semi formal invitations for our Rehearsal Dinner and had people RSVP via phone to my future husband.  What I did was found a graphic artist from Etsy basically design a invite for us and then had it emailed me on a digital file.  I then saved it to my flash drive and then printed them off at CVS, bought nice envelopes from Joann Fabrics, and then topped them off with “LOVE” stamps and heart stickers.  

 

I DO invitations by michelle ~ where paper is pretty + parties are fun.
