Does the ribbon fit in the envelope without being too big? Sometimes the post office is picky about bumpy envelopes.

And I think traditionally 2013 is spelled out, but that’s really your choice!

I think that the white ribbon and pink ribbon are too much together? Is the pink ribbon necessary to hold the invite together?

@littleluli:  I agree about it being too much – instead of a white ribbon, could you use a pink one to incorporate your wedding colors?

I think maybe with the ribbon it is the contrast of the much smaller ribbon to the larger one.  In the model picture you can see the smaller ribbon is a little bigger…

I don’t love the look of the thin pink ribbon. I think the wider one in the one you modeled after looks more substancial. The thin one looks cheap to me (no offense!)

And I don’t hate the monogram, but I think it’s a lot going on. I love monograms but I wish it was more simple. Maybe just some simple elegant letters (or letter) and ditch the flourishes.

Totally my unprofessional opinion. Feel free to ignore. ๐Ÿ™‚

I would just write out the year.

I’ve worked for Canada Post and I can tell you just by looking at it that they would charge more than double postage for an envelope with a ribbon that size.  Not sure what country you’re in but you might want to check with your local post office to see how much extra postage you’ll be paying for that ribbon.  It looks really pretty though so if you don’t mind the extra charge then keep the ribbon.  I really like the monogram too and the simple font.  Very classy.
