I’m getting ready to assemble my invitations in the next week or so. I have my wedding website printed out on the bottom of the reception card. However, lately I’m getting a lot of questions from people about things that they would know if they went to the website. And these are some of the younger people like my brother and cousins.
I’m starting to wonder why I even sent out STD’s!
So, anyway I’m thinking that maybe I should print up accomodations cards about the block of rooms we reserved and maybe a little directions blurb.
Do you think this would be overkill?

No, I think you should be okay. My invitation suite had the invitation, the RSVP card, and the information card with direction/website information. I don’t have a reception card as we are having both in the same place, but if we didn’t, I would’ve included one too. I’ve noticed that people aren’t visiting the website as much as I thought they would have; I guess it’s just because I’m super web-savvy and they probably aren’t as much.
If possible, I would try to squeeze all that excess information on one card so you can cut down on postage costs.

We are having the reception in the same place as well. The reception card is doing double duty as a reception/information card with the website information. But, I LOVE the stationary we had it printed.
I think I’m just going to go to Office Depot and buy some paper and print up little cards with a blurb about directions to the venue and information with the room block. I agree less paper the better and less postage needed the better! 🙂
