bunnybabe282:  Do you have one with information regarding place/time for your reception?  Sometimes people do an “information” insert as well with hotels or your wedding website information.

You can put your accomodations information on a card, so that people know where to book a room if they are out of town.

Depending how many pockets you can always include useful details, like parking, weather reminders that time of year, etc.

We just did one with our wedding website, and our website had all the extra information (transport, accomadations, etc)

I did three – one for reception details (basically time of cocktail hour, dinner and then reception); a second for accommodations with details on the two hotels we reserved blocks of rooms; and a third for directions/parking information ( I know most people have GPS, but I figured older folks might appreciate the written directions).

bunnybabe282:  Whether including registry information is rude or not seems to be a matter of location and social circle. Like you, I’ve never received a wedding information that hasn’t included something about their registry. A lot of bees will say that this is rude, but if this is what is done where you’re from/in your social circle then it will likely be expected by your guests and won’t be considered rude.

We have the main insert, an Information card and an RSVP card.

The information card has directions to the venue, hotel information and a link to our registry for anybody who wants it (along with a line saying that we’d rather their presence than their presents)

xx
