Our invitation Mock-up came today! I want to thank everyone on WeddingBee who inspired me to use Cards and Pockets . It was the greatest idea ever and I owe you ladies (a lot!) for saving me hundreds of dollars. The invitations are beautiful, high quality, and perfect for the DIY bride!
I know it seems early to be worrying about invitations, but, I am headed into a Manager program at work and once I do that, the next 18 months of my life will be consumed completely by The Rose Group. By the time I complete the program, I will be only a few months away from my wedding. I am well aware how stressed scary I can become when things are pushed off or too much is taken on at once, so the more we can accomplish now, the happier Ms. Shrimp- and Mr. Shrimp for that matter- will be!
I will share photos at the end of the post, but what I was wondering is if anyone else is as far ahead crazy with their planning as I am? How far out did you ladies start planning? Did anyone get all of their planning done early and wish they had left some things wait? Let me know, I’m interested to hear all of your opinions!
(I didn’t forget the pictures, don’t worry! <3)
(Please forgive the awful scissor work and the staples! I was completely out of tape and so excited about getting them together to share with my Mom and everyone on here, I just put it together really fast. In retrospect, I should have taken the time to at least find glue so it didn’t look so sloppy.)
Inserts: (click the attachments to see the rest!) Although it is hard to tell in the pictures, the envelope is a color called “Bitter Chocolate” anything that appears white is called “Cream Puff” and the purple is called Amethyst. (The design on the belly band is called “Grunge Swirl” and we used the Edwardian Script ITC as the font – a little more formal I think)
