Where did you have your invitations printed? and how much did it cost?
Hey bees, my wedding isn’t until June 2014 but I’ve been trying to get a head start on ideas of where to get our invitations printed and a rough estimate of how much it will cost.

I printed ours through Vistaprint and used two of the $17 off $70 groupons. I ordered some other things at the same time (address labels, a couple of shirts, thank you cards). But our 70 invitations, RSVPs, information cards, and envelopes cost about $1.10 each, once you factor in the $34 for the groupons.

@windcriesamy: Wow, that’s a great deal! How was the quality of the invitations and the printing from Vistaprint?

We used a place called Evolution Press (who prints and ships across the country) and they were awesome!
We had one color letterpress and printed 100 invites, save the dates, all the insert cards, escort cards, and a 2×2″ monogram for the programs and it was about $1000.

I did my own with my old school HP Inkjet printer. The invitation and RSVP card were from a kit at Michael’s, and all the extra inserts we included I just bought some nice linen paper from Staples and cardstock from Michael’s to back them on.
In the end it worked out to a little over $50 for 50 invites. (I don’t count the cost of ink since I didn’t need new printer cartridges)
