We did not send our photog or DJ an invitation. The address of the venue and time of arrival were all written in our contract, so they knew where they were supposed to be. Typically they will eat while you and your guests are eating. The DJ can eat at his station and the Photogs typically aren’t photographing everyone eating so they can slip away and eat something as well. I just asked my vendors what they wanted to eat when our numbers were due into our caterer and the caterers made sure to set the plates aside the day of.

The contract we have with the photographer says we must provide a seat and a meal which is fine he will be with us for 10 hours on our wedding day.  We just e-mailed the photographer with the 2 meal choices and let them know vegetarian is also an option.  He got right back to us with his selection.

We also were told we needed to provide the photographer with our invitation for photo’s so we dropped that off at the studio (save on postage) 🙂

Usually you don’t give an invitation to photographer or DJ. You do however provide them with a meal. I’ve usually seen DJ’s just eating at their station, but considering it would just be dinner music on a playlist you could probably give them a seat. The photographer should definitely have a seat as well.

No invitations sent to vendors. LIke others have said address, time, location was in their contract. Vendor meals were provided to each person. Depending on number of hours they are there, some will even include food requirement in their contract.

You dont need to send them an invite. They know where they have to be. Most of the time they just eat when the guests are eating. You dont really want pics of people shoving their faces lol. And the DJ will probably just play soft dinner music.
