So unfortunately I had one of our invitations returned with a “nonmachinable” stamp on it. Hopefully that’s the only one (I know many of them have been delivered). I had checked with my mailroom guy at work on the postage & size (it’s a square envelope) but I think he might not have know about the size surcharge. Anyway the envelope is ruined so I’ll have to make a new one, my question is can I reuse the stamp? It doesn’t have any post date or markings on it. Or can i take it into a post office to get a refund on the stamp? I’m just concerned that if I get anymore back I’ll be wasting all those stamps & envelopes.
Anyone know if that’s ok? I can always take it to the post office, I was going to wait a few days to see if any other ones come back.
