In my search for classic elegant vintage inspired invitations I found:
I love their invitations! BUT they are way out of my budget limit! So, Im attempting to do my own version. 🙂
I made some samples and I need help chosing which one to use!
Where can I find Cheap small brooches to add a more vintage look? Should I use the feather? What do u think?
Scroll down to the Comments for the las two options (#7 and #8)I couldnt figure out how to add more pictures to the post LOL

What kind of lace did you use? I love that touch!! I looked everywhere for inexpensive broaches wish I could help. I say leave the feather off….I think it could get snagged and end up looking bad because of that once it gets to your guests.

I personally would leave the feather off. It’s not really my style and it might cost more to mail. I reallly like 4 and 5 the best. You did an awesome job, I never would have guessed that any of those were DIY.

I like #3 the white with the feather in the middle. I think if your invitations will be in a sturdy envelope the feather will be fine. Very very cute!

I like the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ones. I like the feathers I guess! 🙂 The 2nd and 3rd are my favorites.

Ok so I dont know how to add more pictures to the post so here are the last two options!

I really love the first blue one with the feather (second picture) and the first blue one without the feather (fifth picture). I agree that the feather may be difficult to get to stay beautiful, so I would say unless you can think of a way to protect it, to do without. I love the touch of “bling” that the second picture has, could you maybe add that (in white) to the fifth picture?! I don’t know if that would be too much.
Over all I think they all look great!

I like the first one with the feather! Great job!

I really like #3. Love the use of lace, and I like how the blue pops from the white invitiation. I’m not a fan of any of the damask ones, I feel like it is so overused.

Thank you all for the help and advice!
Im thinking of using boxes instead of envelopes so the feather will stay beautiful!
I just need to decide which one Im using so I can estimate the price and see If I can afford the boxes!
@MissDW Something like this?

I LOVE #4…it’s very simple, and not too overbearing…I’m not a fan of the other colors because it’s just so BAM…in your face! Love the white though, it has the color you’re looking for without it being too much.
