So, I just ordered the second batch of my invites and I realized that there is a mistake on the accomodations card! Ahhhh! It’s supposed to say “Please make reservations by July 15th 2012” but it says “Please make reservations by July 15th 2010!!!! FML! I seriously proofread this invite about 1000x and about 10 other people looked at it and nobody noticed! Worst of all, about 200 invites have already been sent with the mistake on it.
Has this happened to anyone else? Did your guests notice?

At least it’s a date from the past and not the future. If it said 2013 then I’d be worried! 🙂 People will know it’s a typo and know what you meant. Que sera sera!

It sucks but I don’t think it’s a big deal. People will know what you meant. Don’t stress over it.

If they even notice, I’m sure they’ll figure it out that it was a typo.. I don’t think people plan to time travel back in time to your wedding.. I think it would be worse if it was a year in the future. Like you all did, they’ll probably read right over it & fill in “2012” when they’re reading it.. I think you’re fine! It would bug the crap out of me too.. but mistakes happen!

Don’t worry. I’d probably giggle a little bit at it, if I noticed it, but since it’s a past date I’m sure people will understand you mean July 15th 2012. Breathe in, and out, and in… it’s all okay.

Don’t stress too much. It can’t be helped. People will know what you mean!
I misspelled “marriage” on my invitations and I, too, proofrerad them a million times.
You’ll giggle about this after the wedding.
