Hi! I’m hoping ya’ll can help me with the wording of my invitation. My parents are divorced and my mom has remarried. So, do I say Mr. and Mrs. Stepfather’s Name and Mr. Father’s Name … or Mr. and Mrs. Stepfather and Mother’s Name and Mr. Father’s Name? Additionally, I’m having trouble with including my fiance’s parents’ names since he is a "jr." So, do I say, "son of Mr. and Mrs. FIL’s Name, Sr." or Mr. and Mrs. Father-In-Law and FMIL’s Name, Sr."? I feel that if I include my mom’s name, then I should include his mom’s name, but won’t it be weird to have "Sr." at the end if his mom’s name is included in the Mr. and Mrs?
Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy and Mary Jones
Mr. Jeff Smith
request the honour of your presence
at the nuptial mass of their daughter,
Mr. Greg Gregson, Jr.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Greg and Deb Gregson, Sr.
Does that work? Or should it just be "Mr. and Mrs. Greg Gregson, Sr."? Sorry for the long post!! Thanks for your help!
