Does anyone have any thoughts on wording about a cash bar at a wedding?
We are planning to do a Loonie or Twoonie bar ($1 or $2 drinks for the non-Canadians) with all the money going to charity. I’ve seen my friends behaviour at open bar weddings and it’s a little too crazy for some of my relatives to handle. I also feel that when people pay for their drinks (even a dollar or two) makes people not waste as much and act a little more responsably than drinking their faces off.
I don’t want to say “no-host bar or cash bar” as it implies I am charging my guests but I don’t want to omit it as then people might assume it’s paid for or show up with no cash for the bar.
Any thoughts?
