I need your imput on invitation wording!
We are having a full Catholic Mass and my father is paying for the whole wedding. YM parents are divorced though and I love my step mom and would want to include her on the invitation if we were to put names. We would also want his parents names- which turns this into a giant list of names rather than an invitation.
Is there a way to just put “together with their parents” or something rather than everyones names?
I dont think my dad would be offended that he isn’t listed on the invitation

If you want to put the names of both sets of parents you can do it like this:
(your mother’s name would be first)
Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Meachen
and
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Levy
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
If your father is paying for it I would do it this way even if he would not be offended. Good luck!

Here’s how we’re mentioning his parents:
Mr. and Mrs. Zouave request your presence at blahblah…
Zouave
and
Fiance name
Son of Mr. and Mrs. FIparents
For dealing with stepparents, google Martha Stewart or Crane’s etiquette for invitations. They both have the how-to’s.
