I have a question about wording on the invitation. My father is both a reverend (Masters of Divinity) and a medical doctor. He doesn’t like the wording "The reverend doctor and Mrs. John Doe". He would rather have "The reverend and Mrs. John Doe, M.D." But doesn’t that seems pretentious? And also, would it seem like my mother is a doctor if ‘M.D.’ is at the end? He doesn’t like the former because he feels like people would think he’s a reverend with a Ph.D. instead of an M.D.
Oy vey! And, don’t get me started on my DIY invitations! Where’s a good place to buy cheap paper+envelopes?
Despite the ‘fun planning’, I’m loving the weather 😀
