- Wedding: May 2011
I am trying to decide on the right wording for our invitations which I am designing myself. As far as hosts, my parents and my Fiance are footing most of the bill with FI’s divorced parents paying partially for flowers and the rehersal dinner.
So how should it be worded? Something like this maybe?
Mr. and Mrs. Steven and Noemie *****
Request the pleasure of your company for the wedding of their daughter
Ms. Amber Marie
Dr. Victor Joseph *****
Son of Mrs. Eileen *****
Mr. Victor *****
on Saturday the Seventh of May
Two-thousand and Eleven
at Two O’Clock in the Afternoon
Reception to follow
I read that “request the pleasure of your company” is proper to use when the wedding is not in a church, which it isn’t…
Also, I need help with a second font. The font I used for our save the dates is called Good Vibrations (script). I need a second print to use for ease of reading. I think I’ve read it’s best to use the script for just names maybe and the print for everything else?
Any advice/ideas are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Here’s a pic of our save the date so you can see the font that I need another to coordinate with…
