We are having a wedding where we and most of the guests will be travelling from out of town. I require some assistance with the wording on our invitation! The second page of our invitation will be sort of a timeline, outlining the times of events each day. We want to indicate that we will be downstairs in the restaurant of the hotel having breakfast at 10am the day after the wedding. People are welcome to stop by and eat with us, but we will not be paying for their breakfast, nor is there free breakfast available through the hotel! This is what I have:
6pm- If you are in town tonight, stop by for a drink with the bride and groom
3pm – Ceremony begins promptly
5pm – Cocktail hour begins
6:15pm – Dinner begins
10am – The Bride and Groom have breakfast. Feel free to stop by!
Does anyone have any advice on this, or comments about the other wording? Do you think I should even indicate anything about breakfast on the invitation, or just spread the word on the night of the wedding?
