MaryMee:  It’s an address. You HAVE to put the entire thing. You don’t want any misunderstandings. It isn’t even an option to leave out part of an address, IMO.

Definitely leave “Monclova, Ohio” in! Don’t assume people will know the rest — too risky. It doesn’t look bad to me to have “Monclova” repeated — if that’s the address, that’s the address.

MaryMee: Per Crane’s and Emily Post, you actually can omit the street address.

 

You can simply say:

Monclova Historical Foundation

Monclova, Ohio

 

(Unless, of course, there are two Monclova Historical Foundations in Monclova, Ohio.) Also, spell out, “Ohio.”

I would leave it! The only time the guests will notice is when they are typing into their GPS, but you don’t want to risk them getting lost!

We’re just putting the city and state – the whole address with directions is listed on our website. If you’re doing a separate reception card or map, you can put the address on that.
