So so silly, but I need help.
We’re doing a church wedding, the ceremony ends and a half of an hour the reception starts. The majority of guests will hop on shuttles a block away immediately after the ceremony to go to the reception.
At the end of the invitation we have:
Dinner and dancing to follow
we also have an insert card telling guests all additional info on the reception, etc can be found at our website.
Do we need to add the location of the reception to the invitation with the full address????

I say yes. We are including EVERYTHING from the website in our invitations. Mostly, we know the older guests and some of our family “don’t internet” or would get confused trying to navigate our website. We don’t want to give them any extra work. We’re also including a map with the route to take highlighted in the invitation.

I would put all the details of your reception / shuttle on the insert. I learned the hard way that most people don’t look at wedding websites.

If the reception is at a different location to the ceremony, then I would definitely include the address and everything with the invitation. Not everyone is overly internet proficient, and some people may just grab the invitation to take with them so having the addresses in the same places (ie on your website and in the invitation) could save some confusion.
