I’m in a bit of a pickle. i’ve got the basics for our wedding invitations downpat, however there are a few things I’m not sure how to include.
Keeping in mind – we are not very formal people, and neither are our invited friends and family.
– We are offering a bus to pickup and return guests (our venue is only 30mins from most of our guests homes but we feel if we’re paying for a 5 hour bar package – we want them to really use it!). This would be at a cost of about $10 pp return payable on the day. Is it totally innapropriate to put this as a yes or no option on the RSVP cards?
– Also, we are offering a cash bar in between the ceremony & reception start (1.5 hours) – should I, and how would I advise this on the notes section of the invitations? Having been to weddings prior where we have not been informed of a cash bar I feel it is better to notify guests and have them prepared.
Are we better off to just verbally tell people as we see them, or is that too informal?
