Hi Ladies! My Fiance is in the military (currently deployed), and we most likely won’t have a solid wedding date until a month or so before the big day. I need to be able to design/make our invitations, what are some good programs and sites you would recommend?

We bought our wedding invitations and the craft store Joanne’s. It was nice because I was able to address the envelopes and stamp them ahead of time, and then printed the invitations and stuffed the addressed envelopes. I went with the silver heart ones, one invitation card and an RSVP card. It helped make things much easier for me, because they weren’t time consuming, they were simple and yet still beautiful and elegant. 🙂

@Miss. Snowball: Thank you, that’s something to think about! I like the idea of addressing the envelopes in advance, but I really would like an online program; I want to put our pictures on them and design the look.

I used good old microsoft publisher and made mine from scratch. If you don’t have office professional you can download a trial.
I ordered our thank you cards through magnetstreetweddings.com and although there were some issues with them on the first go around, (mainly due to me not thinking about how small the photos would be if I blocked the card into a checker print, and then it being printed on textured paper) they fixed it quickly and for very little replacement cost.
