Below is what I have worked up so far for my invitations.. I’m putting it up here for some comments and critiques! I have an invitation, rsvp postcard, and map card…
The monogram was inspired by a design on pinterest that I redrew with our names and on my fiance’s advice added extra hidden hearts. 🙂 Love how it turned out.
The Front of the RSVP card is a photo of our ceremony venue. I plan on also wrapping these with bakers twine with a moo card with our website address, and enclosing in a recycled taupe envelope.
1) Is it okay that I left off the groom’s last name? I know that is probably against proper etiquite but I didn’t like how it made his name so much larger then mine, throwing off the justification…
2) On the RSVP card is it okay to have an rsvp for the ceremony and the reception? I’m doing so because I know a lot of people may attend only one or the other; and i want to have an fairly close number for the amount of chairs I need to order for the ceremony.
Love it? Hate it? Let me know!

@Josina: I actually like that it’s balanced with both of your first/middle names. It feels more equal, versus you being “given away” by your parents to your husband.

Great job! These are lovely!
Could you maybe not have middle names and just use his last name?

I really love your map & directions. I’ve been struggling with mine for a week, because I have a lot of freeways to include on the map. Yours shows me a nice way to do it. Did you do the map yourself?

@MrsLulu: I use a google map and drew it in Illustrator.. It was hard because people are coming from all directions so I needed to include all the major highways!

Wow! Beautiful! Great Job. Love your name heart. Your/His First, Middle names look fine. Especially since you have parents’ name underneath.

They look amazing! Great job =)
And I totally don’t think it matters that you don’t have his last name because you have “Son of Mr. and Mrs. Lastname” right underneath. I’m with you on the symmetry and things being the same size.. it would bother me too!
