I love love love my invitations! Paper products are from Cards and Pockets and from Paper and More. I designed everything in Illustrator – love that free trial! You can’t really tell in these cell phone pics, but the outside lace is ivory and the lace on the inner pocket is the exact same shade of lavender as the ink on the invites. My fingers are blistered (hot glue is hot, yo!) and my dining table may never be the same, but I am so pleased with how they turned out!

Oh my gosh I LOVE them! That is incredible, how did you do it? My colours are purple and blue and I am hoping to DIY, just not sure how!

@Olive12 Thank you!!
@Jacqui90: I downloaded the free trial of Adobe Illustrator and winged my way through it. LOL! It really wasn’t difficult to figure out the software enough to create the simple design I did. I printed everything on the nice color laser printer at my office. I then spent lots of time at the paper cutter. After punching and rounding the corners I assembled all the layers and then spent lots more time (and blistered fingers!) glueing the lace on to each pocketfold. I tried a couple other types of glue, double sided tape and spray glue, but the hot glue gun worked the best.

@LauraLT: lovely! The ribbon with lace for the ‘belly band’ looks awesome! It does help that purple is one of my favorite colors 🙂

Thanks everybody! I am so proud of them! I almost don’t want to put them in the mail because I’m afraid the post office will mess them up! LOL!

Oh my goodness. These are exactly what i came up with for my invitations. They are just wonderful! However…I am having a hard time designing the inside to something I like.. Would you be willing to send me over your template that you made in illustrater?
Also, did you make or buy your pocketfolds? That gray is exactly I color I need..but I can’t seem to find it online to buy them. Making them just takes so longg. haha
