I tried really hard to make a map to enclose, using a couple of the great tutorials on the Bee.  It didn’t work out well.  (And I consider mysefl proficient in Photoshop.)  Good luck!

I wouldn’t worry too much about directions. A map should be enough. As Roxanne says, most people have a GPS anyway or can ask you or your OH if they really need them. You could put a simple direction if need be, such as corner of Macquarie and George st, when travelling along the eastern distributer, take the Macquarie st exit… or something like that. But I think most people will be able to work it out unless its really difficult.

We just gave directions from one exit of the interstate – all the locals know how to get to the church and reception hall anyways.

We are using a google and taking the coordinates and creating a qr code so that they can scan with their iPhones.  And using the map for those without Scan ability.   I don’t think we are listing directions.

I wasn’t planning to do a map or directions, but received some really negative feedback from FI’s older relatives on the topic (after they received SIL’s invite to our engagement party sans directions/map).  Apparently, not everyone knows how to look up directions on a gps…or mapquest…or Thomas Guide…
