I need help with my invitations, im not a very good DIY person so we making them is not really an option and was wondering if its tacky not to have peoples names on the actual invite but only on the envelope. It is alot cheaper and alot less fussy.
There are a number of websites that you can bulk buy the invites printed with all the details but obviously not individual names.
Just wondering what you did or if you have any suggestions.

i have never received an invitation when each invited guests name was on the invitation.

Typically in the US invitations only have the name of the bride and groom, and then ther parents’/hosts (if they so choose). Guest namea are only ever on the envelope(s). So I guess I’m confused what you’re referencing….

Im located in australia so maybe people do different over here. but basically each guests names are printed on the invite also. So it still had all the usual information as per the pic you have posted above however he names of the guests are also printed.
it seems like alot more work involved 🙁

It’s definitely the norm in Australia, I have never received a wedding invite that didn’t have my name on it. I think it just makes it simple and clear who is invited. I think however if you have a really nice looking invite and maybe put it in an inner envelope with the guests names it would be ok.
