- Wedding: September 2014 - SPRING VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB
I am currently putting my invite package together and I originally wanted a total of 3 cards. The formal invite, the response card, and the direction/hotel info card. I am wondering if the 3rd card is needed.
Won’t most people have GPS? Do I really need to include the directions? We don’t have that many out of town guest, and the ones we do have are staying with family. I honestly don’t want to waste any money on something that this isn’t going to be used. Any advice or opinions would be helpful

We had the formal invite on the rhs, three cards and an envelope for guests to send their replies tucked in the lhs, so would that be 5. I loved making the multicoloured envelopes for replies, and they were so fun to receive back through the post too!
We needed everyone to stay at our reception venue though for us to have exclusive use, that’s why we had an accommodation card. This also included offsite accommodation if guests had made it clear they wanted to stay elsewhere.
I think the directions card is nice, I know I still like old fashioned directions. Our ceremony was a bit out of the way so we included tips like drive past the XYZ sign and it is 100m on the right, the sort of advice that isn’t on GPS or Google.

We did 3 inserts (RSVP, Accommodations, and Location/Map), however mine were DIY so it didn’t cost me anything extra to add the map insert. If you’re trying to save yourself some money, I don’t think it’s a necessity.
