I’ve seen some people thinking of putting their invites in thin boxes with some candy.

I wanted to do something that had a WOW factor, too.  I was thinking a boxed invite, but the costs added up quickly.  We are also doing letterpressed invites.  I think we’re going to stack everything and tie it up (like a present) with a nice satin ribbon.  I do calligraphy so I will address them all pretty.  🙂

FWIW, I’ll bet your guests haven’t seen pocketfolds.  We made them for our Save-The-Date Cards and everyone is still talking about them.  Obviously we don’t want to replicate the idea for our invites, but maybe reconsider the pocketfolds?

Miss Perfume that did something really cute and interesting with hers- they’re packaged in a way that the invitations/inserts sit inside an envelope that "explodes" out! Here are the pics from her blog post about it
