Hi Ladies, I need to get my invitations ordered ASAP (I’ve totally been slacking and avoiding it but its time!) and I would love to have someone other than my mom and FI look at them to see what they think!
We are getting married on the Oregon Coast but aren’t really having a beach wedding, just more of a wedding that happens to be at the beach because we like it. The wedding is still fairly formal and our colors are plum and gray/silver. Also, we are using dots on our cake (which is why I created the matching invites)
Venue: (inside is reception area with view and outside on the lawn will be the ceremony)
Girls dresses (all in plum)
Cake Inspiration: this design…
With this shape…
So here they are! Also please disregard the weird borders around the invitations, I was taking screen shots on my computer so they turned out funny, but the actual invites are just to the edge of the white and the dots and with the rounded corners. Also they will be printed on white pearl shimmer paper (hopefully!)
Front of Invitation
Back of Invitation
RSVP Card which is smaller, hence the appearance of bigger dots, hopefully the same size as the invitation dots in real life:

@lovelorlo: I think they are great and fit in with everything perfectly:)

Very pretty, simple and classy. I love them!

They look great! and you look amazing in your dress! I really like the idea of asking people for their favourite song 🙂 I wish we had done that too!

Invites are nice. If your parents are paying/hosting the wedding their names should be on the invite. There is no rsvp by date and there is no place to write a name so you will not know who the rsvp is from. I have seen -I promise to dance if you paly…
that seems to have better flow.

@lovelorlo: Hi there!! I am an illustration student designing my own wedding stationary and i think they fit really well with your theme, and i like them other than the font of the purple type. if i could suggest any other font to take it’s place, i would suggest:
(which if you don’t have on your computer you can download from the internet.)

I agree with @diamondsragrlbf: that you need something to be able to tell who the RSVP is from and you need an RSVP by date, but other than that its great.

Thanks for your help! I didn’t even think about putting a place for names when I was making them because I normally hate the M_______ BUT its super important to know who is responding haha so I added a line where we will write their names in before we send them. I also added the Respond by date (Something I thought about before and just forgot about 🙂 story of my life). Here is the new and improved RSVP, again it is a screen shot so there is a weird border but it won’t print like that, thoughts?
@diamondsragrlbf: Thanks for the input! my parents names will go on the invitation in the first part where it says “Brides parents” I just didn’t want to put their names on there on the internet haha
@VampireBride: Unfortunately I created them on a website that i can do whatever I want, but I can only use their fonts, can I ask what about the purple writing you dont like?
@Elky: thanks for the input! changes are made!

Very nice! That is one drawback of using vistaprint the fonts are very limited. I ordered 10 first to see if I liked them. Nice size but I choose to go with thermography instead beacuse they did not have the formal look I was going for.

@diamondsragrlbf: I actually am using PurpleTrail which is really awesome because you can completely cusomize it and then decide if you want to have them printed or print at home. But you still have to use their fonts 🙁

@lovelorlo: Super cute! Now this is just my personal taste, so it probably makes no different whatsoever: I think invitations flow more smoothly if you make the “&” slightly transparent and have the letters of your names barely overlap at the top or bottom.
Overall, great job! 🙂
