@4evaurs:  I decided to go with the company that did our STD cards, Vistaprint. I couldn’t decide on what I wanted for the invites, and really wanted pocketfold, but they were going to be pretty expensive (even on etsy) so I decided to just go with flatcards instead. However, I still like the idea of a ribbon across the invitation, and an accent of a Swarovski crystal on it, so I ended up buying the decorations myself on ebay. All in all, 50 invitations, plus matching card inserts about the reception, matching envelopes, and personalized seals for the envelopes, and the decorations cost us £45 vs the £160 it would have cost us for the pocketfolds I was looking at.

Here’s what I wanted, but with a ribbon and bow at top:

I ended up ordering:

We saved room at the top to add in a matching ribbon and bow. I liked that Vistaprint let me pick the design, pattern, color, and customize all the text and spacing myself.

Just a thought!

You can do them yourself.  You can google free wedding invitation templates online, go on youtube to see tutorials or go through Vistaprint.  Good luck.

@4evaurs:  The Vistaprint invitations took me about 15 minutes to design and order. I’m slammed as well and ended up doing them one night when I was having trouble sleeping.

And thanks 🙂 They’re bright, but I like ’em.
