I finally finished my design for my invitations, showed my mother and she said. Looks like a birthday card and my sister said it was too busy. I’m wondering if it is just them being their usual negative wedding selves.
I haven’t decided if I am going to put them into a navy pocketfold or print them & put them in silver pockets from target.com (only 40 for $50 invitations, envelopes, & rsvp cards?? hard to pass up)
Would the black envelopes be too much?
We are having a 1930’s art deco wedding.
I would love your feedback.
Last names and Address removed for web, also going to fix all the lowercase s.

There is a lot going on, but if you meant for it to be that way, and you love them, they’re perfect.

Nice choice on the 1930’s art deco theme! I bet that will be stunning! I think your invitation is in line with that nicely. I love the colors and the font chosen for your names and larger typeface, and would just gently suggest a font that is a better match for the smaller type. The scrolly designs are pretty and elegant! What specifically does your sister think is too busy about it? Hmm, the only thing my eye goes to is the black scrolly image on the left overlapping the bottom border. Is there a way to perhaps lessen that overlap? Or just chop it before it hits the border? That might open it up a bit but I’m not sure if that’s the look you want. What do you think?
