I am interested in that to, sending my inviations in Feb. I know of a few that will not come due to distance but we will send an invite anyway. We are inviting 180 and planning on 140-150 showing.

Invited 193, 151 RSVP’ed “Yes”. 1/2 of our guest list was travelling a pretty significant distance, so we figure that accounted for most of the “No’s”.

We’re inviting 193 and are expecting 120. If all of the “maybes” show we’ll be at about 135.

We had 120 rsvp’s, but ended up having almost 140 people show it.  It’s sort of an unfortunate cultural habit to brings non-rsvp’ed guests, so my situation is probably more of an exception.

We invited 120. 20 RSVP’d no (and none of them came); 100 RSVP’d yes, and they all came except 2 who fell sick. (Which is fine, there will always be 1 or 2 like that, and both called and apologised).

We didn’t have a lot of interstate guests though. Out of interstate guests it was 13 invited, 4 came.

This is a greeat debate in my mind. We have to have an minimum of 100 guest to get the full ballroom(although my venue mentioned 80 at first, i feel if I argue they would just book another wedding in the other half anyways) so we think 100 is a safe number. So do I invite 120 and hope 100 come? What is 100 rsvp yes and 20 don’t show…I have to pay 85% of the number I confirm with the venue…so if 20 don’t show…I still need to pay 5 of those not used seats!!!!

But we really don’t want to pay more then 100 seats as our budget would get stretched more then we want it to.
