Love the invites I got from Wedding Paper Divas!!! Nice quality, simple for what I wanted and a great price. I got my paper and pocketfold samples from Cards & Pockets and they are lovely.
Now more decisions….pocketfold and bellyband combo!
Here’s the invite again (final wording besides the names and spacing was changed)
Here are the pocketfold combos I’m considering:
Sand pocketfold with azalea belly band
Azalea pocketfold with Sand bellyband
Azalea pocketfold with Aquamarine bellyband (mtaches the background of the invitation)
The samples are gorgeous!! They are a very nice quality metallic paper. They came fast, I ordered them on Saturday. I got a sample of the Aquamarine, Quartz, and Opal paper to use for the inserts. I have another sample pack coming from Paper and More, but I really love these.
What do you think Bees??

I vote sand with pink. The pink envelope just looks a bit too girly for me. The sand seems a little classier for a very special occasion. Just my opinion though.

I also prefer the sand pocketfold. The pink does seem very bright when there’s so much of it so I like it better as a band. Ps – your invites are lovely!

The sand with azalea pocketfold is winning in the poll. I showed it to Fiance and he likes that combo too but is leaving it up to me. He said that the azalea with aquamarine is nice too but he likes the sand pocketfold the best. I’m leaning towards azalea with aquamarine but I’m not sure yet. UGH, I like them both!!!!!!
@Mrs. Bear Cheese Pie: I’m definitely girly and pink is my fave color but I see your point! I just want to have color SOMEWHERE and when I put the invite inside the sand pocketfold it kind of blends in and doesn’t stand out to me. I’ll take a mockup pic this weekend with the invite and both pocketfolds and blank out the personal info.
@Juliepants: Thanks for the compliment!! I decided to order them instead of 100% DIY and save me some stress and aggravation. They weren’t that expensive and I’m still within budget.

What about a sand pocketfold with the blue band? In My Humble Opinion it would match your invite better since the band is the same color as the invite and the sand color matches the theme. I just think there’s no pink in the invite so why a pink pocketfold but maybe thats just me

@KarenA: I think the aquamarine bellyband looks too light with the sand pocketfold. I’m using the tropical colors of pink and orange and I wanted to add a some color to the invite. Chair sashes, flowers, shoes, Bridesmaid or Best Man dress, and table decor all have some sort of pink or orange associated with it. I went wth that particular invite since the wedding is on the water at a marina and it has a pier just like the background of the invite. I figured I could add the color elsewhere on the invite. Plus anyone that knows me, knows I’m all about pink!
Thanks for the advice though, I’m still playing around with the options!
