You should NOT mention who is not invited. stick with mentioning specifically, by name who is invited. Then follow up with anyone who RSVPs for an extra guest privately.

You can also start talking about this with family and friends now.

it is impolite to point out who is not invited on an invitation.

Use parents names when addressing invitations.  If you  have room and the time, you can put something like ____ seats  have been reserved and write in the party number for each invitation (like 2 in the case of a couple).

IF people respond with their children, or other extras, you call them and say you cannot accommodate additional guests.
