We’re in the process of sending out our invitations. A few questions that I’m pondering about:
1. Do we really need an ‘inner envelope’?
2. Should I really include a map, or simply add them to my Out of Town bags? (Most guests are OOTers)
3. What about a reception card? Needed or not?
4. What else can I add, inexpensively, to spice them up a bit? I’ve already added a few rhinestones on each invite and rsvp card. I was thinking a ribbon band or something…
Any help is appreciated!

i think it all depends on how traditional or formal you want to go.
you can totally forgo the inner envelope.
you can spice them up with a great font or calligraphy for the envelopes. Some snazzy stamps on the outside…

We did not have an inner envelope or a reception card. All our info fit on the invite… including the website which had maps, directions, additional information about the area etc. The maps to the rehearsal dinner went in the Out of Town bags because I didnt want to worry about them forgetting it.
