How many of you had invites for you bachelorette party?
I had thought I was having them but my matron of honor just told me she wasn’t planning on it and it made me kind of sad for a minute….is it odd that I had thought we would have invites? Do people normally do invites?

I received an actual paper invite for one, and jsut a phone call for one. I was left wondering if I was actually invited to the one second, or if she just didn’t have enough friends able to attend. I would definitely feel let down if my friend didn’t send actual invites to my bachelorette.

I have thrown one before and mailed out invites. I just wasn’t sure how most people do it.

The one I threw as Maid/Matron of Honor we used an evite. It worked out well. That seems to be the most common around here, versus paper invites.

My BM’s are throwing my B-party (my sister/MOH is 17) and apparently one of them wanted to mail out invites and the rest of the girls thought it was stupid. I would have loved an invite though! It would make me feel special!

When I was Maid/Matron of Honor I did a facebook invite to get everyone except the bride on board since everyone was coming in from different places. Then I sent paper invites 🙂

I had physical invites for only my shower, not the bachelorette as it was all done on facebook! They made a group, made me an admin and I got to pick who to invite (my Maid/Matron of Honor wanted to make sure it resembled my guest list) and then they kicked me out of the group to plan. I had a local stagette and a vegas one, neither had paper invites.

Hmmm… I’ve never received an invitation to a bachelorette party. It was usually by email or word of mouth. I don’t think my Maid/Matron of Honor is going to have any for mine either… Although only the bridesmaids will be invited to my bach, so I think they already know that they’re in — they don’t need invites! 🙂
