klbrend:  I did something similar.  Invite with rsvp card and envelope tied with purple ribbon. I spent about 80 for invites and 60 on rsvp cards. I didn’t want anything fancy.

I like them; I’m not into fancy invites that will end up in the trash either ๐Ÿ™‚

I like them! You’re right, there is no point in spending hundreds on invites!

Those don’t look cheap at all! In fact, I’m impressed how well they match since you got them from different companies. Awesome job!

I spent £26 from vistaprint for some printed like flyers but on thick card. They look great. No rsvp cards as we put guest info sheet in  asked people to rsvp by email, phone or post.

klbrend:  I went with cheap invites and I don’t regret it at all. I think pricey invites are largely markup. I have gotten SO MANY compliments on my invites from my cousins (all of whom had six figure weddings), haha- I spent around $100 total. The back of the invite is just that deco print that’s on the bottom of the front (not our names):

I think they look great ๐Ÿ™‚

We bought invitation sets from Michael’s for 50% off and designed and printed our own reception cards. We spent under $1 per invite and although they were no where near as fancy as the ones we always receive, we were happy to put that money elsewhere!

They dont look cheap at all, they are really cute! I am DIYing my invites, in my opinion invites arent a super spurgle worthy item sense half my guest will just throw them away eventually. You did a great job though! ๐Ÿ™‚
