shakeyourhips :  Yes those are both readable, but the layout makes the flow of reading difficult still (but that might just be me!). Have you looked at vistaprint?

The solid pink background makes me think baby shower rather than wedding. I like the simplicity of the first one. Perhaps you could add some bits of pink or gold flair to it, sort of like what a PP had posted.

Hate the pink. Love the gold “flecks”. The first one is only ehhh.

shakeyourhips :  The gold would be a foil stamp by professional printers. I like the Gold fleck the best. It is very pleasing from a design perspective. You can always purchase paper that had golden flecks in the grain of the stock and print over it.

shakeyourhips I like your own mockup the best. But doing a full bleed yourself would be nearly impossible. Why not make the font gold and the paper white? I recently printed some invitations myself on a laser printer and had great success.

This gold color came out looking as good as a professional printer on my work laser printer: C=9, M=29, Y=66, K=24

It was extremely legible on white paper. I used Cranes 110lb Lettra that I bought on Amazon, which is the same paper my professional printer used for the inserts for my wedding invitations. It is much richer looking than the samples I got from the online sites.

And envelopes.com has blush envelopes. You could even print the addresses onto the envelopes in the same gold as the invitation. If it was legible on orange, it will definitely be legible on blush.

I prefer the updated one (original #1) in white with the border, the pink reminds me of a baby shower invitation. I’d set that on thick paper and call it a day! I also love the gold flecks, though. If you’re printing it yourself, it may be better to do the white #1 with the border though.

I actually love the pink color.  I think I like it best with the red writing, but I liked the gold on pink too.  Not so sure on the black on pink.

    Reallly love the pink.

You should look at PurpleTrail.com.  They have some better options, and you can fully customize them.  So you can make the colors exactly what you want.
