I have been stuck with the design of my invites for a while. I am having the main invite printed on linen fabric (already prepped for printing!) This will be inside a pocketfold with the extra info printed on seperate plain cardstock cards. It will look something like this.
I wanted a tree on the side of the invite (like shown) but cannot find anything that really fits what I want to go for (yeah, I’m picky!)
Last night I found some amazing invites on a blog and decided to play around with this inspiration. So here is my inspiration sketch
This is only a ROUGH DRAFT. If I go with this new design I would use a quill pen with black ink (the lines will be cleaner). SHould I got with this new idea? Also is it too much, should I tone it down (less branches)?

I like it! But I love viney branchy things.

I thnk it looks really cute! I don’t think you would need to tone it down at all! Good job 🙂
Post # 5
I think it looks great just the way it is…its super cute!

looks so good! nice job 🙂

I like it, but I think some of the words are too close to the branches. Need more whitespace in between.

@JenniferG: I should have mentioned try to look past the text right now (and also the wording.. and um, spelling), the final draft I will work will the text more.
Also I might do a lighter branch draft because I had to scale down the text to fit in this design and am worried about scaling the text down any more.
