Hi Bees,
I have a very large Filipino family, but am having a fairly small wedding (100 guests). While there are some family members I’d like to invite that I’m close to, I’m not as familar with some of their brothers and sisters. I figured as most of them are 18-21 it wouldn’t be a problem as they’re adults, but I don’t want to be disrespectful. If I have to invite ALL of the siblings AND their children, my guestlist would bump up to 150+ and I can’t have that many people.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I want to be a respectful as possible to all of my family members, but the whole “it’s your wedding, you can invite who you’d like” argument doesn’t exactly suffice here.
I appreciate the advice!
