This is so weird, as I was doing my guest list I came across some of my cousins (I have lots) that are divorced. I know maybe 2 of them that are dating someone (because I saw it on FB) so I’ll do +1 for them. But for the others that I don’t know what their relationship status is….what should I do???

If you have room for additional guests, I would go ahead and give a +1 to everyone.

I would do for them what you’re doing for all your single guests. Does everyone else get a +1?

yeah, do for them what the single guests are getting. (or single but in relationships.)

Legally divorced is essentially the same as single. If you are doing a +1 for your single guests then it should be no different for your divorced guests. And certainly, if you are doing a +1 for some of your divorced guests, the same should be done for all of your divorced guests.

Are you inviting +1s for any guests in any kind of relationship (just dating, boyfriend/girlfriend, living together, etc..)?
If you are going with +1 for some guests, you need to do it for all of them, whether you know for sure if they have a significant other or not. Facebook is not a really reliable indicator of relationship status, I know my fiance and I prefer to keep that kind of thing off facebook, so you wouldn’t know we are engaged just by glancing at our facebook pages.

I agree with mile_end. Everyone gets a +1 or no one gets a +1.
