I’ve been attempting to upgrade all night and succeeded in getting my phone stuck in recovery mode.  Six hours left until the download is done so I can restore it.

Yeah, I don’t think I’ll try to upgrade again after this.

@Pinkmoon:  I just upgraded. It’s too soon yet for me to tell whether I like it or not, but it seems okay so far.

I’m waiting to upgrade until Apple’s servers are a little less overloaded, either tomorrow or Friday.

I think a lot of people need to update their iTunes to be able to upgrade.

Darling Husband has had the beta ver for a while now, not sure if he’s legit upgraded already today. Haven’t talked to him about that specifically yet.

The colours really bug me. I know the idea is to be more minamalist in style, but the neon- style colours really irritate me. I liked the previous colours- they were still bright, but not neon. I feel like the neon colours make it less sleek and more child-like. This is a personal preference of course, I’ve never enjoyed neon and now i have to look at it all the time. Its also harder to see the icons unless you have a dark background. And i think the design is better on the iphone than the ipad.

I like the extra camera features though, and the new way to exit the running programs is kind of cool, but i had to google it to figure it out!

Overall, i prefer iOS6’s design with the new features.

@Pinkmoon:  Okay, I will do that. I don’t have much music on it though, most of it is on my computer and iPod.

I love it so far. I like how clean and simple the new design is. My favourite is the new lock screen.

I HATE how on my song list it shows songs I deleted atleast a year ago with the iCloud icon to the side to tap to redownload it. I deleted it for a reason!! Ugh

I don’t really mind it, just need to get used to it. The browser is a little different in the fact that I can’t just start typing a web page and my recent visits come up. Oh well.

I do miss the old icons. The new ones are flat and that’s not appealing to my eye. I like the old 3D ones. That’s not a big deal though.

I like the new neon colors but I feel like a lot of guys are going to think it looks too girly now.
