I love Droids.  Fiance has an iPhone, and every time I touch it I hate it a little bit more.

I will be getting the Droid Maxx Razor, the Samsung Galaxy S, or the Droid Incredible 4 on my next upgrade… which is like next week.  So I need to figure out which one!

I have the Droid Pro right now and loveit…It’s just getting a bit dated, so I want a new one.

I have an andriod… and I cant believe I’m saying this bc I was soooooo pro Andriod, but when I get my next phone I’m switching to an iphone.  My andriod was great, but now freezes all the time.  Plus I have a Mac Book and the iphone will be more compatable with it.

    iPhone. Always iPhone.

In my opinion, no smart phone will ever compare to it. I’ve been an avid user since the launch of the first gen and have upgraded to every single one since. They just keep getting progressively better so I’m sure the 5 will be awesome. We’ll be pre-ordering it as soon as it’s available.

I have an android and I recently rooted it. Many of the problems you hear about are now gone :). Plus I have about 100X more freedom with my phone than any iPhone user. True, it voids the warrantly, but mine already expired, and if it hadn’t, I could unroot before taking it in. I’m never looking back. And I loooove my nice big screen.

The particular phone you will want will depend on carrier and screen size more than anything. They’re all pretty great, and there are so many. I also personally liked HTC for stock UI, but when I rooted I went to something completely custom.

I owned 4 android OS phones and every single one of them sucked.  I was the payroll/commission person for a 3rd party carrier, and android OS based phones malfunctioned the most & were returned the most.

I got smart after phone #4 and made the move.  Have not looked back since, LOVE iPhone.

I have the Android Incredible and I love it! It does everything the iPhone does without all the bells and whistles. I’ve never had a problem with it and I’ve dropped it so many times (oops).

@Taeyers: iPhone users can jailbreak their phones which is basically the same thing as rooting an Android.

@futuremrsk18:  Not answering for UpstateCait since everyone has different impressions, but that is something my Fiance complains about a lot.  He has, on more than one occasion, asked to use my phone to watch things that involve Flash or Java.

@futuremrsk18:  I gained special access to the programming of the phone. It allows me to delete and install anything at all, or even write my own code for it if I knew how to do that. The point for me was to be able to install custom ROMs, which is basically like getting to change around my OS and UI any time I want. There are many applications to help manage and back up these ROMs, so it’s fairly risk-free.

I’ve heard that droids are good but that they die out quicker, so I’m going to stick with the iPhone. I haven’t had mine very long, but I have a lot of friends who have had theirs for years and they’re still running perfectly. Fiance is going to use his upgrade to get me a 5 when it comes out and he’s going to take my 4s. 🙂

@UpstateCait:  Nope, you will never have access to Apple’s source code. There’s still much less you could do.
