DO not get a Droid!!!! I currently have one, and I am on my fourth replacement for this phone. The people have tried to tell me that it is very uncommon to have issues, but my dad has replaced his, and while I was in the store trying to get a new one, there was another girl in there trying to get rid of her Droid for an Iphone. My phone has always been in a case, with a screen protector, never dropped in water or anything like that. I have babied my phone, and it just wont stop messing up on me. Even just flat out dying once, and I lost everything! (over 1500 pictures and all my numbers and things like that). If I were you I would go with the Iphone, at least Apple stands behind their products more than Motorola.

I LOVE my Galaxy S3… had not a single problem with it in 6 months so far.

I’ve never had an IPhone but my FH does and he enjoys it. I think the Apple is a bit more user friendly, Samsung you need to play around with to know how to do everything. But I think it can do just as much or more than the IPhone, in my experience! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Good luck choosing!

I have Galaxy S3 and I love it. I even got mine as a refurb from AT&T and haven’t had any problems with it since I got in October.

@Mars62312:  I love my Droid phone. I don’t have too many issues with mine, had to send it in once (they sent me a replacement) because I had a battery that wouldn’t stay charged (the Razr). No problems so far, and they use Google Play/Gmail accounts to store stuff. You can also use Dropbox (separate app) to align stuff from your tablets/laptops/desktop/phone. ๐Ÿ™‚

ETA: I have not had any issues with lost pictures or contacts yet. And the few times I’ve ever dealt with customer service, it was pleasant.

I have a Samsung galaxy S3 and i love it.. But I loved my DROID incredible much more and wish I had gotten the incredible 4g LTE. The S3 is a little bigger than I would like and the keyboard is not great. I bought another one in the play store and it was only like $3 and is way better. The battery life is really good though. I use mine all day to read wedding bee, text, talk on the phone, pandora etc and by the time I go to bed it usually still has 40%. I haven’t had any glitches or major issues, I just liked my DROID incredible more.

@Mars62312:  Honestly, you’re going to have people that claim Droid phones are garbage, and you’re going to have people that swear iPhones are crap. What it boils down to is, any phone you get *may* have issues, but you ought to pick the one that has the features you like BEST, not pick what others are telling you to get. ๐Ÿ™‚ Good luck with your phone purchase!

My Fiance loves his droid that my dad got him for XMas! He hated his iPhone just as much as I hate mine right now – I’m not eligible for an upgrade for a while ๐Ÿ™

iPhone 5 has a voice to text feature and a google maps app that is much better than the ones on previous phone.  I love my 5!

I have an S3 and the ONLY complaint I have is that my swype keyboard isn’t very accurate. I’m pretty positive I just got one that has that problem though because my SO has an S2 and the swype works perfectly. My main reason for staying with android is because of the swype though so I’m probably going to consider an iphone in 2 years when I upgrade more than I did this time. I have NO other apple products though so I don’t know if it’s all hype or what.
